Cable & Wire Assembly

Almost nothing with a board on it ships without something plugged into it. We build the harnesses and cable assemblies that connect it, built to spec and matched to your production schedule.

Cable assembly is a natural extension of board assembly — most products that need a PCB also need something wired into it, so keeping both under one roof means one schedule instead of two.

Our line runs on automated cut-and-strip machinery built for efficient harness production, handling wire and cable cross-sections up to 4 AWG and diameters up to 0.49". Bench-mounted crimping equipment covers wires up to 10 AWG with both side- and rear-feed terminals, and programmable stripping equipment handles everything from 32 AWG up to 10 AWG, including jacketed cable up to 0.22" in diameter.

The line runs on Schleuniger equipment built for high-mix cable and harness work, with Cayman software handling offline programming and process control — less time reprogramming machines between jobs, and more consistency from the first harness to the last.

Beyond harnesses, we build complex soldered cable assemblies and battery packs, and cable and harness work is accepted to IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
