Design Consultation

Design for Manufacturing review that catches cost and quality problems on paper — before they show up on the line.

The cheapest place to fix a manufacturing problem is on the drawing, not on the line. Our Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review looks at your design early enough to simplify both the product and the process that builds it — which is where the real cost savings live.

A DFM review gets Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Management looking at the same findings together, instead of discovering conflicts stage by stage. We evaluate alternate designs, materials, and processes against their actual production cost and quality impact, so the tradeoffs are visible before you commit to tooling or a build.

The goal is straightforward: parts that assemble quickly and easily, with proper clearances and tolerances, designed right from the start — saving time, cost, and cycle time without giving up quality.

Review scope
Design, materials, process
Alternate components and process paths evaluated against cost and quality before you commit to a build.
Cross-functional
Design ↔ Mfg ↔ Purchasing ↔ Mgmt
Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Management review the same DFM findings together.
Outcome
Lower cost, same quality
The goal: reduce cost and cycle time while maintaining or improving quality and serviceability.
What we review

Fixed on paper costs less than fixed on the line.

In-house capability

From concept to a production-ready prototype.

Design support doesn't stop at the review. We build the fixtures and prototypes that prove a design works before it goes to volume.

Strategic partnerships

The specialists we bring in when a design needs them.

When a project calls for expertise outside our four walls, we bring in partners we've worked with before — so you're not the one sourcing and managing them.
